The New York Department of State requires departmental consents for certain nonprofit corporations. If your nonprofit requires such a consent, you will obtain that on your own. If certain wording is required in the Certificate of Incorporation, we will add it to your Certificate before it is sent in to the Department of State.
A Group Exemption Letter is given by the IRS to a central organization that has subordinates (or chapters) so that the subordinates or chapters do not have to file for their own 501c3 tax-exempt status.
